Tolleson Virtual Neighborhood Meetings on Impacts of Unhealthy and Unsafe Substance Use in Our Neighborhoods:

The Mayor and Council of the City of Tolleson are initiating the development of a Healthy Mind and Body: Substance Abuse Prevention Education (SAPE) Program and a Substance Abuse Intervention and Enforcement (SAIE) Program. These programs are based on communication, education, interventions and enforcement.

Council Member Lupe Bandin has hosted in person and online neighborhood meetings. Please join future events to share your experiences, concerns and to help identify the impact of unhealthy and unsafe substance use in our neighborhoods.

The mission of the Healthy Mind and Body: Substance Abuse Prevention Education (SAPE) Program is to provide all generations of Tolleson residents with a variety of information about current substance abuse effects and trends.

Vision:

The Healthy Mind and Body: Substance Abuse Prevention Education (SAPE) Program will safeguard the mental and physical health of Tolleson residents.
