Development Services Director Jason Earp

Since 2015, Jason Earp has served the City as the Economic Development Director. In this role, he is accountable for fostering a diverse and sustainable local economy by facilitating business attraction, promoting development, and ensuring retention of current business entities. 

Previously Jason was the Field Operations Director for the City of Tolleson. For more than 10 years he effectively and efficiently developed, managed and operated the physical infrastructure that is the foundation of the city’s health, safety and welfare, while enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Tolleson. His areas of responsibility included Sanitation, Streets, Vehicle and Building Maintenance, and the Grounds Keeping Divisions. As a proponent of eco-friendly programs, Jason spearheaded the implementation of the first Curbside Recycling Program in Tolleson.

Jason also worked as a Management Analyst for the City of Tolleson from 2002 to 2004. Prior to working with the City of Tolleson, he held the position of Human Resources Analyst with the City of Avondale.

He is a member of the Hispanic Leadership Forum del Oeste, an organization in which he previously held the role of President. For nearly 15 years, Jason has served as a coach in various youth sports in the West Valley.

Jason earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
