CAP Office Services

The City of Tolleson Community Action Program (CAP) is a partnership between Maricopa County Human Services and the City of Tolleson providing limited temporary assistance with utility and rental assistance for Tolleson renter households who are at risk of homelessness, housing instability, or facing financial hardship. Additional services are also available.

City of Tolleson Community Action Program (CAP) Services

  • Hours of Operation: 
    Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Services are for City of Tolleson residents and require an ID.  

*Walk-in services are reserved for the most vulnerable clients (elders & homeless).

Services include:

  • Rental assistance
  • Utility Assistance
  • DES assistance; including nutritional assistance, medical assistance eligibility, Medicare assistance (AHCCS), and basic needs. Assistance available Mondays 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. OR Thursdays 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Food distribution
    Including Brown Bag, Farmer’s Market, Sprouts, Commodity Boxes
  • Resources
    Including homelessness, domestic violence
