The City of Tolleson’s Development Services Department is comprised of four divisions: Building, Planning & Engineering, Economic Development and Business Licensing.

A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT IS REQUIRED WHEN A SPECIAL EVENT:
- Is held on City property or impedes, obstructs, impairs, interferes or disrupts normal or usual use of City property, facilities or right-of-way; or
- Requires the use of any City resource or services that would not be necessary in the absence of such a special event; or
- Is a grand opening, sidewalk sale, seasonal sale or special vehicle seasonal sale.
