Albert P. Mendoza

Albert Mendoza was elected to represent the community as a Council Member in 2007.  In this role, he collaborates with other city council members, businesses, community organizations, and citizens to provide clear leadership for the growth and sustainability of the City of Tolleson.  As a Council Member he is instrumental in the decision-making processes and is committed to protect and promote the best interests for all Tolleson’s residents. To ensure his success, he attends the National League of Cities Leadership Training Institute on an on-going basis.

Council Member Mendoza has been very active in government and community-related associations. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce and a member of the National League of Cities.

Previously, he has served as President of the West End Little League for three years and as a Parish Council Member of Blessed Sacrament Church. As a strong proponent of service to people, Council Member Mendoza served his country in the United States Army.

Council Member Mendoza is a native of Tolleson, married to Cruzita.  Together they raised two sons, Michael and Richard in Tolleson.
